Gili Tepekong

Amuk Bay, where Gili Tepekong/Mipang is located, is a single island exposed to the North Current and is only accessible to qualified and experienced divers.

Especially from July to October you can see some pelagic life such as black and white tip reef sharks, barracudas, stingrays and sometimes sunfish (Mola Mola).

Dive sites in the area are famous for colorful coral reefs, schools of tropical fish, and larger marine life such as manta rays and sharks. One of the most popular dive sites on Gili Tepekong/Mipang is Tepekong Cave. It is famous for its unique underwater cave system called the Blue Hole. After passing through the small cave, you can admire the magnificent vertical wall on the other side.

Divers can explore the caves and see a variety of species including angelfish, parrotfish, eels, and octopuses.

For experienced divers, this is a must-visit destination for scuba divers, with its beautiful waters and diverse marine life.
