Padang Bay, a small fishing village on Bali’s east coast, is a great place for scuba diving.

Padang Bay diving sites offer the opportunity to spot colorful coral reefs (spiny corals, brain corals and soft corals), schools of tropical fish, and larger marine life such as manta rays and reef sharks.

This is where you can see the most turtles in Bali, and also where you can see molluscs such as squid, octopus, and cuttlefish.

Macro enthusiasts can find leaf scorpion fish, ghost pipefish, seahorses, many rare nudibranchs and the elusive frog fish.

Underwater photographers have a variety of options, both wide and macro.
